Refervia can send new referrals, messages and updates straight to your phone, even when Refervia is closed. It takes about a minute: add Refervia to your Home Screen, open it from there, and tap Allow once.
Before you start
- Sign in to Refervia in your phone's web browser first, at refervia.com/login.
- On an iPhone or iPad, notifications only work when Refervia is opened from the Home Screen. That is Apple's rule for every website, not just Refervia.
- Do it on each phone you use. Every phone asks for its own yes.
iPhone with Safari
Use the iOS 27 or iOS 26 switch in the example to match your phone. Not sure which you have? On iOS 27 the address bar has a button with three lines at its left end. On iOS 26 there is a ••• button at the bottom right.

- Open refervia.com in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Page Menu button, the three lines at the left end of the address bar. On iOS 26, tap ••• at the bottom right instead.
- Tap Share.
- Tap View More (or swipe the sheet up), then tap Add to Home Screen.
- Leave Open as Web App switched on and tap Add.
- Go to your Home Screen and open Refervia. It opens full screen, like an app.
On an older iPhone, tap the Share button (a square with an arrow) in the toolbar, then Add to Home Screen.
iPhone with Chrome

- Open refervia.com in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap Share at the right end of the address bar.
- Find and tap Add to Home Screen. If you don't see it, tap View More or scroll down the list.
- Tap Add.
- Open Refervia from your Home Screen.
Android with Chrome

- Open refervia.com in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap ⋮ at the top right.
- Scroll down and tap Install and create shortcut. Older versions of Chrome call it Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Tap Install, then Install again. Pick Install, not Create shortcut: a shortcut opens a normal Chrome tab.
- Open Refervia from your Home Screen or your app list.
Allow notifications
The first time you open Refervia from your Home Screen, a Turn on notifications card opens by itself.

- Tap Turn on notifications.
- Your phone asks once. Tap Allow.
- You'll see Notifications are on. That's it.
Phones only let a website ask after you tap something, so that one tap can't be skipped. If you closed the card, tap Turn on in the card at the top of your dashboard.
If you tapped Don't Allow
- iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app, tap Notifications, tap Refervia, and turn on Allow Notifications. If Refervia isn't in that list, delete the Refervia icon from your Home Screen, add it again, and tap Allow this time.
- Android, installed app: press and hold the Refervia icon, tap App info, then Notifications, and turn them on.
- Android, in a Chrome tab: tap the icon to the left of the web address, then Permissions, and turn on Notifications.
Trouble?
- I don't see Add to Home Screen on my iPhone: you may be in an app's built-in browser (Instagram, Gmail, LinkedIn and others). Open the page in Safari first: tap the app's menu and choose Open in Safari or Open in browser.
- Notifications are on, but nothing shows up: in Refervia, open Settings, then Notifications, and check that Mobile push notifications is on. Also check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't on.
- I want to turn them off: switch off Mobile push notifications in Refervia's Settings under Notifications, or turn them off in your phone's settings. The bell in Refervia and important emails keep working either way.
- Still stuck? Contact support and we'll help.
